Step 3 - Pet Hair Removal

The fibers in the artificial turf serve as a large doggy hair brush and the build up over time can actually prevent your artificial grass from draining properly. You can see the hair in this photo.  When this occurs, urine’s bacteria will begin to settle on top of the turf and foster some of the most rancid odors imaginable.  Most notably during hot summer or spring months.  Hair accumulation also allows for rapid growth of bacteria and other risky contaminants that can expose some health risks to your family.  Some clients suffer from hair allergies and if your pet’s hair is accumulated in the turf, this can just make the reaction worse.
